While similar in structure to Akfil fabric, it is produced with finer yarns and a tighter weave, resulting in both a brighter and smoother surface.

Properties of Cotton Satin Fabric:

• 100% cotton: Thanks to its natural fiber structure, it is breathable, does not cause sweating, and is skin-friendly.
• Because satin weaving technique is used, the surface is shiny, while the back has a matte texture.
• Its soft and smooth texture provides a comfortable sleeping experience.
• The tightly woven structure makes the fabric both durable and long-lasting.
• Easy to iron, retains its shape after washing and does not lose its shine.
• Its dust-resistant and cooling properties make it a preferred choice, especially in hot climates.

Cotton satin fabric, thanks to its elegant texture and natural sheen, is particularly used in the production of sheets, duvet covers, tablecloths, pillowcases, and comforter covers.
It is also an ideal choice for high-comfort bedding sets in hotel textiles, soft-touch products in baby textiles, and decorative pillowcases or curtain linings.

• It is smoother and shinier because it is woven more tightly than Akfil fabric.
• Its natural sheen is different from the artificial luster found in synthetic satins — it comes entirely from the natural reflection of cotton fibers.

Since it is a 100% natural fabric, it may shrink, attention should be paid to the first wash. If possible, the first wash should be done before sewing.

Since it is a natural fabric, it wrinkles especially after washing. Although it does not wrinkle as much as Linen in daily use, it will wrinkle enough to require ironing again when taken out of the suitcase.

Iron inside out at a maximum temperature of 150°C.

Light colors may require lining as they will be slightly see-through. Voile lining can be used as lining.

Return policy

Fabrics ordered under 20 meters cannot be returned as they are cut specifically for you and their resalability is impaired. Returns are accepted in case of a defect in the product.
