Satin what is fabric?

It is a fabric that typically contains 97% polyester and 3% lycra (elastane), combining the lustrous and silky surface of satin with flexibility. Surface Properties

It is soft, smooth, and tightly woven.

Texture and Drape

Its flowing and draped structure conforms to the body.

Where is Satin fabric used?
Why is Satin fabric preferred?
Does it pull?

Since it is a 100% natural fabric, it may shrink, attention should be paid to the first wash. If possible, the first wash should be done before sewing.

Does it wrinkle? Can it be ironed?

Since it is a natural fabric, it wrinkles especially after washing. Although it does not wrinkle as much as Linen in daily use, it will wrinkle enough to require ironing again when taken out of the suitcase.

What are the care instructions?

Not Suitable for Dryer

Suitable for washing at 30° low speed

Bleach Should Not Be Used

No Ironing Required

Is a primer required?

Light colors may require lining as they will be slightly see-through. Voile lining can be used as lining.
