Knitted and Jersey Fabrics hakkında
Knit and jersey fabrics belong to the family of flexible and comfortable fabrics woven with a loop structure. These fabrics, which stretch in the warp or weft direction, are preferred for their soft handfeel, body-conforming capacity, and comfort, ranging from sportswear to daily wear.
Jersey, produced with cotton, viscose, polyester, or elastane blends, is offered in various structures within a weight range of 150–300 g/m². T-shirt jersey, heavy jersey, and modal jersey are its main types. Jersey fabrics, which tend to curl at the edges, require the use of a stretch needle and overlock during sewing.
