Cashmere is a thick, firm, and warm outerwear fabric woven with wool or wool blend yarns, then subjected to felting (fulling) and surface tightening processes. These processes close the yarn gaps, integrate the surface, and give cashmere its characteristic dense, full, and shape-retaining character.

Cashmere fabrics are not flowy; they have a low drape and, when sewn, create a clean, strong, and voluminous silhouette. Therefore, they are particularly preferred for outerwear designed for cold weather conditions.

General Characteristics of Cashmere Fabric

Types of Cashmere Fabrics

Wool Cashmere Fabric:

Acrylic/Polyester Blend Cashmere Fabric:

- It is a lighter and more economical alternative.

- Suitable for daily use.

- There is a wider range of color and pattern options, and the colors do not fade.

Since it is a 100% natural fabric, it may shrink, attention should be paid to the first wash. If possible, the first wash should be done before sewing.

Since it is a natural fabric, it wrinkles especially after washing. Although it does not wrinkle as much as Linen in daily use, it will wrinkle enough to require ironing again when taken out of the suitcase.

Not Suitable for Dryer

It should not be machine washed; it should be hand washed.

Bleach Should Not Be Used

Can be ironed at a maximum temperature of 110°C.

Light colors may require lining as they will be slightly see-through. Voile lining can be used as lining.

Delivery

Your order will be delivered to you within 4 business days at the latest through our contracted cargo companies. If your order is under 2000 TL, the shipping fee will appear on the payment page, shipping is free for purchases over 2000 TL.

Return policy

Fabrics ordered under 20 meters cannot be returned as they are cut specifically for you and their resalability is impaired. Returns are accepted in case of a defect in the product.
