Guipure fabric is an elegant type of lace with embroidered and perforated patterns created entirely from threads. However, unlike classic lace, the patterns in guipure are not embroidered onto the surface of the fabric; instead, they are created as independent motifs by directly weaving the threads together.

Guipure fabrics, generally produced with polyester, viscose, cotton, or silk yarns, have been preferred for many years in both fashion design and decorative textiles due to their luxurious, romantic, and decorative appearance.

Properties of Guipure Fabric
• The patterns are created during the weaving or knitting process; they are not printed or embroidered afterwards.
• Its perforated and embroidered structure gives the fabric an elegant, transparent look.
• It has a thick and firm grip, and although it looks delicate like lace, it retains its shape.
• It can be produced with matte or glossy yarns; glitter yarns can be used in shimmering designs.
• It doesn't easily come off when cut, so it can be safely applied to dresses, hems, and decorative details.
• It is breathable, which makes it suitable for summer designs.

Since it is a 100% natural fabric, it may shrink, attention should be paid to the first wash. If possible, the first wash should be done before sewing.

Since it is a natural fabric, it wrinkles especially after washing. Although it does not wrinkle as much as Linen in daily use, it will wrinkle enough to require ironing again when taken out of the suitcase.

Light colors may require lining as they will be slightly see-through. Voile lining can be used as lining.

Delivery

Your order will be delivered to you within 4 business days at the latest through our contracted cargo companies. If your order is under 2000 TL, the shipping fee will appear on the payment page, shipping is free for purchases over 2000 TL.

Return policy

Fabrics ordered under 20 meters cannot be returned as they are cut specifically for you and their resalability is impaired. Returns are accepted in case of a defect in the product.
