Thick Tencel gabardine fabric is a structural and flowing fabric made by combining a high-density gabardine weave with Tencel (Lyocell) fibers. While sharing the same production principles as standard Tencel gabardine, it has gained extra weight and volume due to its denser fiber structure.

Its increased grammage allows for a structural drape without appearing coarse; the softness, breathability, and moisture management properties of Tencel fiber are fully preserved in this high grammage.

Preferred for autumn-winter collections, this fabric is stiff enough to stand without an interlining or additional support, and it is easy to sew.

Coat & Overcoat: Its heavy grammage creates a structured look in winter coat and overcoat models.
Suit: Preferred for jacket and trouser designs that maintain their shape for a long time.
Trench Coat: Its thick structure combined with Tencel's comfort features makes the trench coat both stylish and comfortable.
Blazer & Short Jacket: Suitable for jacket designs that do not require a rigid structural framework.
Winter Skirt: Its heavy grammage provides an advantage for draped yet structured winter skirts.

Since it is a natural fabric, it wrinkles especially after washing. Although it does not wrinkle as much as Linen in daily use, it will wrinkle enough to require ironing again when taken out of the suitcase.
