It is usually made from silk, viscose, or polyester yarns. It has a slightly striped texture (rib effect) on its surface, which gives the fabric an elegant sheen and volume.

Ziberlin, whose name comes from the French word "Zibeline," has been used throughout history in form-fitting designs such as elegant evening gowns, bridal details, formal skirts, and stage costumes. Thanks to its firm and full structure, the fabric creates a sculptural silhouette that becomes apparent when sewn.
