A stiff-finished interlining used in costumes, wedding dresses, and evening gowns to give the fabric form and a structured drape. Also known in the industry as "bedenlik" or "eva," this material is placed under the fabric in areas requiring structural support such as the waist, skirt, shoulders, and collar to maintain the garment's silhouette.

It is adhered to the fabric with a hot iron and is the most commonly used interlining type in wedding dress and evening gown production. It is also preferred in bag making to keep the fabric stiff.

Interlinings adhere at 140°C–155°C for 10–15 seconds.

It offers a wide range of application flexibility due to its ability to retain the garment's silhouette and form for a long time, its ease of ironing on, and its availability in different degrees of firmness.

Since it is a 100% natural fabric, it may shrink, attention should be paid to the first wash. If possible, the first wash should be done before sewing.

Since it is a natural fabric, it wrinkles especially after washing. Although it does not wrinkle as much as Linen in daily use, it will wrinkle enough to require ironing again when taken out of the suitcase.

Not Suitable for Dryer

It should not be machine washed; it should be hand washed.

Bleach Should Not Be Used

Can be ironed at a maximum temperature of 110°C.

Light colors may require lining as they will be slightly see-through. Voile lining can be used as lining.
